About EcoBlue Fair Trade Jewellery and Accessories
Seeds of EcoBlue
Owner Gill Clayton began Ecoblue Jewellery as many Fair Trade businesses start: on the grassroots level. After seeing coffee, chocolate and tea being sold by tearfund at her church, she started a a small web site, and started selling jewellery at the The Church Big Day Out, and other local events. Encouraged by the response Gill ventured to start selling on Amazon with the UK. Dedicated to sustainability, she transformed Ecoblue Jewellery using eco-friendly methods of fulfilment and storage. Ecoblue now sells across europe ( UK, Germany, France & Italy) as well as the USA.
Our mission is to help generate healthy, sustainable economic development and trading opportunities for disadvantaged artisans and farmers and to provide an opportunity for our neighbours to directly engage with these producers and contribute to easing global poverty.
New Products, New Artisans
Just in the past few years, the Fair Trade movement has grown rapidly with new producer groups sprouting up with new crafts and artisan products. Ecoblue Jewellery is committed to providing our customers the opportunity to shop the newest that Fair Trade has to offer while also keeping a selection of favourites. Every fair-trade product offered for sale is made by an artisan group dedicated to the principles of Fair Trade Trade as set out by the World Fair Trade Organisation and the Fair Trade Federation.
Sending Out New Shoots
Ecoblue Jewellery is about to launch off into a few new exciting directions. We have just expanded to Amazon in the USA, providing Fair Trade items for sale to our friends across the pond. We're looking forward to offering new beauty product lines to customers throughout the United States. Stay tuned!
